Feeding and Serving Our Community

The world-famous Alfano’s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant was reopened in June 2009 by Alberto and Grace Alfano.

Our establishment had been a Monmouth, IL tradition upon its original opening in the 1970’s by Alberto’s father, Pete Alfano Sr. It was initially located in the town square but soon moved to its current location.

Our current owners have made many changes in the kitchen to accommodate the delicious meals that made us famous, along with updates to bring our kitchen in line with modern, 21st Century restaurants. We also need to accommodate the rapid growth of our business.

Community Involvement

While we are well-known in the community for our excellent Italian food and pizza, we are just as proud of our community involvement.

We are a big sponsor and supporter of many causes in the community including the Monmouth Roseville High School Titans, ICS, Monmouth College, Breast Cancer Support and Research, Relay for Life, YMCA, and many more.
